If your Z-Wave device was previously enrolled on another security system or control panel, it must first be removed from the old Z-Wave network before it can be added to your Display Hub+.
Follow the steps in How Do I Reset My Home Automation Devices to Work With My New Control Panel? before continuing.
If your device has already been reset or excluded and still will not add, try the troubleshooting steps below.
Ensure the automation device is fully powered by either a wall outlet or high-quality, sufficiently charged batteries.
During enrollment, the automation device should be within 5 feet of the Display Hub+.
A failed Z-Wave test may indicate an issue with the panel's Z-Wave communication.
Tap Settings.
Enter your Master Code.
Tap Advanced Settings.
Tap System Tests.
Tap Z-Wave Test.
If the test fails, contact Frontpoint Support for assistance.
If the device was recently removed from the system, wait at least 15 minutes before attempting to add it again. The system may need additional time to fully remove the device before it can be re-enrolled.
Some Z-Wave devices must be reset more than once before they can successfully join a new network. Refer to the manufacturer's instructions to reset the device again, then attempt enrollment.
If the device still will not add after completing the steps above, contact Frontpoint Support for additional assistance.
