Make sure the sensor is correctly mounted

The Garage Door Sensor contains a tilt mechanism that registers whether the door is opened or closed. Make sure that your sensor is mounted vertically in the center of the door, at the bottom of the top panel, with the arrow pointing upward (as pictured below).
