How do I add a Google Nest Thermostat™ to my system?
Level up your smart home by adding control for your Google Nest Thermostat™ directly into the Frontpoint app and MyFrontpoint.com. With the Nest thermostat connected to your system, you will be able to control everything in one app and even create event-based automation for your Nest Thermostat. Click on Available features with a Google Nest Thermostat™ below to read about the features this will enable.
All current Nest thermostat models are able to integrate with the Frontpoint system. This includes the following models:
Nest Thermostat
Nest Thermostat E
Nest Learning Thermostat Gen 1, Gen 2 & Gen 3
For help adding a Nest thermostat, please refer to the setup instructions below that guide you through setup in either the app or website:
Log into the Frontpoint app.
Tap the burger menu to open the navigation menu.
Tap Add Device.
Tap Thermostat.
Tap Google Nest Thermostat.
Follow the remaining steps as prompted to complete adding the Nest thermostat to your system.
Log into your account on MyFrontpoint.com.
Click Settings in the left hand menu.
Click Manage Devices.
Click Add Device.
Click Thermostat.
Click Google Nest Thermostat.
Follow the remaining steps as prompted to complete adding the Nest thermostat to your system.
