How do I adjust the volume of my Simon XT Control Panel?

To adjust the speaker volume of the Control Panel, use the steps listed below:

  1. Press the Down arrow key until you see System Programming shown on the screen

  2. Press the OK button and enter your 4-digit master code and press OK. The screen will display Access Codes.

  3. Press the Down arrow key until you see Siren Options.

  4. Press the OK button and the screen will display Piezo Beeps.

  5. Use the arrow keys to scroll until Speaker Volume shows on the screen

  6. Press the OK button and the number setting will begin to flash, and you can adjust as needed. (1 = lowest setting, 8 = highest setting)

  7. To return to the home screen, continuously press the Status button on the panel until the screen reverts to Disarmed.

Note: The speaker volume refers to any of the spoken word announced by the control panel and is separate from the chimes and/or any other beeps.
