How do I trigger a panic alarm from my Simon XT Control Panel?

A panic alarm can be triggered for police, medical, or fire from the Control Panel in one of two ways:

Pressing and holding the appropriate panic button option for 2 or more seconds
Pressing the appropriate panic button option twice in rapid succession
