Can I buy a Smart Light Bulb to work with my Frontpoint system?
While Frontpoint doesn't currently offer a Smart Light Bulb, we have officially certified the Smart Z-Wave Plus LED Soft White A19 Bulb from Sengled to work with all Frontpoint security panels.
With a smart light bulb, you can use the Frontpoint app to conveniently manage your smart lighting and use Rules and Scenes for smart home automation.
Create Rules with the Smart Light Bulb to automate actions, making them more intelligent and responsive to events that occur. When configured, your Smart Light Bulb can be triggered by alarms, arming or disarming, sensor activity, or Smart Door Lock activity to turn any connected Smart Light Bulbs on or off.
Control multiple smart devices, including the Smart Light Bulb, with Scenes using one button from the Frontpoint app based on a pre-configured list you create. Use Scenes to simplify your bedtime routine, "returning home" ritual, or any other scenario you want to automate with the push of a button.
