The latest model of the Frontpoint Wired Doorbell Camera can be easily installed using the existing mount from the previous model of Wired Doorbell Camera. The steps to replace your current Wired Doorbell Camera with the new doorbell camera eliminates the need to install a new mount and re-wire the doorbell.

Follow the steps below to install your new Wired Doorbell Camera.

Remove the Wired Doorbell Camera from the Mounting Bracket ​

Turn off power to the doorbell at the circuit breaker. ​

• If there is any existing power module attached to the in-home chime, remove it. The Wired Doorbell Camera will not operate properly with a power module attached to the chime. ​

Remove the existing Wired Doorbell Camera from the mount by loosening the bottom set screw (A) and pulling the doorbell away from the mount (B).

Keeping the existing wall mount installed, verify that the wiring is connected securely to the two screw terminals and ensure that the bottom set screw is loosened sufficiently to not come out above the mounting hole at the bottom of the mount.

Attach the Wired Doorbell Camera to the Bracket Adapter by aligning the top of the doorbell with the slots on the top of the Bracket Adapter.

Secure the camera to the adapter by screwing in the small set screw at the bottom of the adapter.

Attach the new Wired Doorbell Camera with the Bracket Adapter

Align the prongs on the top of the Mounting Adapter with the 2 small slots on the top of the existing mounting Bracket.​

Latch the Wired Doorbell Camera onto the slots at the top of the mount and push the bottom of the doorbell until the adapter is flush with the mount.​

Tighten the set screw at the bottom of the adapter by with a screwdriver.

Turn the power on for the doorbell. The LED on the Wired Doorbell Camera will start blinking red and turn solid red once it’s fully powered on.
