Getting Started

The Carbon Monoxide Sensor is always monitoring for harmful carbon monoxide gas even when your system is disarmed.

Follow the instructions below to get
protected in no time:

1. Select a location on a wall, at least 2 feet from a corner, in a sleeping area or common hallway shared by multiple bedrooms.

2. Make sure the surface is clean and dry.

3. Once you’ve removed the wax backing from the adhesive, press the sensor firmly against the surface for 30 seconds.

Do Not:
Place the sensor in a garage, near a fireplace,
heating vent or any fuel-burning device or appliance.
