How do I make sure the Garage Door Sensor is working properly?

Testing your Garage Door Sensor is simple:

Make sure that the chime setting for your panel is turned on and loud enough for you to hear at the location of the sensor.
Slowly open and close the garage door three times in a row. You should wait 5 seconds between each open and close while listening for the chimes.
If you hear the chime every time you open the door, your sensor is working.
