How to install a micro-SD card in the Indoor Camera

Installing a micro-SD card in your camera is a necessary step in order to take advantage of our SD Card Continuous Recording feature. For instructions on how to install a supported SD card in the Indoor Camera, see the step-by-step guide below.

1

Locate the SD card slot

The SD card slot is on the bottom side of the Indoor Camera , near the QR code and MAC address.

2

Orient the SD card

Align the SD card with the slot, ensuring the metal pins (the contacts) are facing towards the front of the camera.

3

Insert the SD card

Push the SD card firmly into the slot until you hear a click, indicating that it is securely in place.

4

Verify installation

Once inserted, the camera should recognize the SD card and be able to record footage.

5

Recording quality

Find your micro-SD card's capacity along the top of the chart below and your preferred recording quality in the left-most column to determine the number of days your SD card will store video.
