My Long-Range Door and Window sensor is showing as open on the Control Panel when it is actually closed

Try this solution

Make sure the sensor is correctly mounted

Ensure that the two pieces are aligned properly. Arrows on both the transmitter and magnet should be directly across from each other
Both pieces should be as close together as possible, no further than 3/4" apart
Ensure there is no recess on the door/frame. Both magnet and transmitter should be flush with each other, on the same plane
