If you are not receiving notifications for the Doorbell Camera, there is likely a configuration issue with a simple resolution.
First, check in your phone’s Settings that all notifications from Frontpoint are enabled.
If this doesn’t solve the problem, you can also check to make sure that the notifications were set up properly by following the below steps.
To turn on push notifications for your Wireless Doorbell Camera, follow the steps below:
Log into the Frontpoint app.
Tap on Doorbell Camera in the navigation menu
Tap in the top right corner.
Tap “Push Notifications”.
Toggle the “Doorbell Call Notification” to “Active” at the top of the menu to ensure you are sent a notification when the button on your Wireless Doorbell Camera is pressed.
Customize the Doorbell Call Notification by adjusting the remaining settings as desired.
Tip: Don’t want to receive notifications at all hours? Select when to receive Doorbell Call Notifications by choosing a notification schedule under the “During this time frame” menu option.
To configure Rapid Person Detection for your Wireless Doorbell Camera, follow the steps below:
Log into the Frontpoint app.
Tap on “Video” in the navigation menu

Tap “Recording Rules”.
Tap “Add”.
Tap “Video Analytics”.
Select your Wireless Doorbell Camera and tap Next in the top right corner to start the setup.
Follow the remaining steps as prompted to fully customize your Video Analytics rule.
To add a thumbnail image of the video clip to the push notification sent when a person is detected, choose the mobile devices to receive notifications on then select “Attach a Thumbnail” in the drop-down list.
If you’re still experiencing issues, check the motion sensitivity you’ve selected and consider increasing it.
If all else has failed, perform a factory reset on the Wireless Doorbell Camera and then repeat the steps to configure notifications.
