Q: How do I power down the Simon XT Control Panel?

To fully power down the Control Panel: 1. Unplug the AC adapter from the power outlet. 2. Disconnect the red backup battery leads hanging out of the bottom left of the panel. They separate where the lighter pink plastic connectors meet. If you have hidden the red battery leads inside of the control panel, you will need to pull them out to disconnect the battery. 3. Once completed, the screen of the panel should be completely blank and no lights should be illuminated. To power the Simon XT Control panel back up, reconnect the red battery backup leads first them plug the AC adapter back into an outlet
