Set up Rules in the Frontpoint app or website to automate your Smart Door Lock - making it more intelligent and responsive to events that occur.
When configured, your Smart Door Lock will lock or unlock automatically based on a specified system activity or sensor activity.
For inspiration to set up your own automated locking or unlocking rules, here are a few customer favorites:
Lock a Smart Door Lock after a Door/Window Sensor indicates a door has been closed
Lock or unlock a Smart Door Lock when the system is armed or disarmed
Lock all Smart Door Locks when one Smart Door Lock is locked
For help configuring automated locking and unlocking, or any other automated events, please refer to the instructions below for each the app and website....
1) Log in to your account on the Frontpoint app.
2) Tap on Rules in the navigation menu
3) Select an existing rule to modify it or tap "+" to create a new rule.
4) Tap Select to the right of "when" to select when the rule activates.
5) Tap either Contact Sensor or Security Panel to select the device that will be used to trigger the rule - device options are determined by the equipment on your system.
6) Choose the action that will trigger the rule to start and then tap Done in the top right corner.
7) Tap Select to the right of "then" to select the action that will occur when the rule is triggered.
8) Tap Lock to select whether to lock or unlock a Smart Door Lock when the rule is triggered - device options are determined by the equipment on your system.
9) Choose a Smart Door Lock and the action the lock will take when the rule is triggered and then tap Done in the top right corner.
10) Tap Wait: 30 Seconds to select the amount of time the lock will delay locking once the rule is triggered - this option is only available when closing a contact sensor.
11) Tap Run at all times to select whether the rule will run all the time or at specific times and on certain days.
12) Enter a name for your rule.
13) Tap Save in the top right corner.

2) Click Automation in the left-hand menu.
3) Click + Add New Rule.
4) Click New Rules Builder.
