If you have a second false alarm in a one-year period, you will be notified by mail, that the City of Tulsa will cancel your alarm certificate 10 days from the date of your letter.

What May Be Required

The City of Walnut Creek requires an alarm permit for residential and commercial security alarms monitored to provide police response. There is no charge for a residential permit and there is a fee of $75 for a commercial permit.

Application Process

False Alarm Information

The City of Walnut Creek is required by law to collect fees for false alarms. You are provided with two free false alarm responses per twelve-month period. The third false alarm will result in a fine of $100, the fourth is $110, and the fifth is $150. The sixth and each subsequent false alarm response will result in a fine of $175 per occurrence.
