Here, you'll find support for your Frontpoint system and account.

How can I control my blinds with my Frontpoint system?​

The iBlinds shade Controller allows you to integrate shade control into your Frontpoint system and smart home.

Manually or automatically open and close your blinds using the Frontpoint app, website, automation rules, or Scenes after adding the shade controller to your system.

The iBlinds shade controller can be purchased here or anywhere else found online.​

  • Add the iBlinds shade controller to your system

To add the iBlinds shade controller to your system, follow the steps below:


  1. Bring the device near your security panel and plug it in to power it on.

  2. Log into your account on the Frontpoint app

  3. Tap the Menu icon to open the navigation menu

  4. Tap + Add Device

  5. Tap Shade and Shutter

  6. Tap iBlinds Window Blind Motor

  7. Tap Next and follow the remaining prompts to complete the installation

    • Perform the programming command according to the instructions of your device

    • If the device does not appear on screen after pressing the programming button, select My Device Won't Add and follow the on screen prompts to clear the device and try again.

  8. Physically install the iBlinds shade controller according to the manufacturers instructions included with the product.

  • Control your shades

Once the iBlinds shade controller is added to your system and installed, you'll be able to control and automate your shades from the Frontpoint app and website.
Frontpoint app

Frontpoint does not support all features that can be found online for the product:​

  • The blinds cannot be scheduled to open and close based on a specific time or at sunset/sunrise.​

  • The blinds cannot be controlled with voice commands using Amazon Alexa or Google Home
