How can I create/edit logins to use the In-App Personal Safety Button?

Since each In-App Personal Safety Button license is tied to the device's location and phone number, each person who intends to use the In-App Personal Safety Button will need their own login.

Only logins with specific permissions are able to access the In-App Personal Safety Button, so the Primary User may need to make or update logins for your family members. The Primary User is the initial login created when the account was set up.

Here's how to add a new login:

  1. Log into myfrontpoint.com.

  2. Click Users.

  3. Click Manage Logins.

  4. Click Add a Login.

  5. In the Email Address field, enter the new login's email address.

  6. In the Login Name field, enter the desired login name. The login name must be unique. The login name you entered is invalid will display if the desired login name is already in use.

  7. Using the Language Preference dropdown menu, select the desired language preference.

  8. Click Save.

  9. On the Manage Login Permissions page, you can select their permissions :

    • Master Control: This user will have access to the In-App Personal Safety Button and all of the permissions of the primary account login.

    • Full Control: This user would have access to the In-App Personal Safety Button and all access to Master Control except they will not have the ability to manage website logins, and they will not receive certain types of account notifications that go only to the primary login.

    • Custom: Here you can give the user access to only the Personal Safety Button (and/or other specific features).
-Read-Only and Limited login types do not have access to the feature.

  10. Click Save.

Here's how to edit a login:

To give permissions to an existing login, you'll either want to upgrade their permissions to "Master", "Full", or update their Custom permissions to include the Personal Safety Button by following the steps below:

  1. Log into the customer website.

  2. Click Users.

  3. Click Manage Logins.

  4. In Login Name, click the desired login to change permissions for.

  5. Select which permission the login should be granted. (Described Above)

  6. Click Save
