How do I create a schedule that will automatically turn the lights on or off at specific times?

To create a schedule that automatically turns your smart lights on or off at specific times, follow these steps:



  1. From the home screen of MyFrontpoint.com, click on Automation in the left menu.

  2. Click on the Schedules option at the top of the screen.

  3. Click on +Add New Schedule.

Now, enter a name for your schedule in the box at the top and fill out the rest of the information:

  • Under Select Devices, check the boxes for the lights you want to control.

  • Under On these days, choose the days of the week when the schedule will be active.

  • Under Perform these scheduled actions:

    • For First, select whether the light will turn on or off.

    • Specify the time for the action.

    • Under Then, choose whether the light will stay in the new state or switch back to its original state.

    • If you selected to switch back, specify when you want the light to revert.

If you check the Away from Home option, the lights will turn on and off at random times, which is great for making it look like someone is home while you're away, such as during a vacation.

Finally, click Save to complete the setup.
