How do I set up notifications for Alarm notifications?

To set up alarm notifications using the Frontpoint app:



  1. Log into your account.

  2. Tap on Menu.

  3. Tap on Notifications.

  4. Tap on Configure.

  5. Tap on Add.

  6. Tap on Alarm.

  7. Name your new notification rule.

  8. Under "When Alarm of type," select the alarm types you want to be notified about.

  9. In the "Is reported by" dropdown menu, choose which sensors to monitor.

  10. To select notification recipients, tap Add.

  11. Choose contacts from the Address Book or tap Add Contact to create a new entry.

Note: Avoid sending a Duress Panic SMS or push notification to someone who might use a Duress Code.

  1. Tap Close.

  2. Confirm the notification settings are correct.

  3. Tap Save.

To set up alarm notifications using MyFrontpoint.com:

  1. Log into your account.

  2. Click on Notifications.

  3. Click on New Notification.

  4. Click on Alarm.

  5. Name your new notification rule.

  6. In "When Alarm of type," select the alarm types you want notifications for.

  7. Use the "Is reported by" dropdown to choose:

    • Any Sensor for all sensor alarms.

    • Specific Sensor for selected sensors only.

  8. To select notification recipients, click Add.

  9. Choose contacts from the Address Book or click New to add a new entry.

Note: Avoid sending a Duress Panic SMS or push notification to someone who might use a Duress Code.

  1. Click Close.

  2. Confirm the notification settings are correct.

  3. Click Save.
