How do I create a Geo-Fence?
To create a Geo-Fence using the Frontpoint app, follow these steps:
Log into the Frontpoint app.
Tap on Menu.
Tap on Places.
Tap on Add.
The center of the fence will default to your system's installation address. To change the location, you can either:
Tap and drag the map to move the location marker.
Enter a specific address.
To adjust the radius, you can:
Pinch the Geo-Fence.
Enter the desired radius in the Adjust Radius field (in miles).
Tap Add or Minus to change the distance.
Keep in mind that the minimum Geo-Fence radius is 1 mile (1.6 kilometers) and the maximum is 100 miles (160 kilometers). For accounts in Canada, the minimum radius is 1.5 kilometers and the maximum is 150 kilometers.
Lastly, In the Name field, enter a name for your Geo-Fence, then tap Save.
