Official Rules: 2024 Frontpoint Lens Legends Video Contest

No purchase necessary. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

The “2024 Frontpoint Lens Legends Video Contest” (the “Contest”) is governed by these official rules (“Official Rules”). By entering the Contest, you indicate your full and unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of, these Official Rules. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. The Contest is subject to all federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations. Void outside the 50 United States and District of Columbia and wherever else prohibited by law.

Eligibility

The Contest is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, age 18 or older or the age of majority in their state of residence at the time of entry (unless otherwise prohibited by law). Current and former employees of Sponsor, shareholders, officers, directors and agents of Sponsor, and their immediate families and/or those living in the same household are not eligible to participate in the Contest. Any person who is a customer of Sponsor but not current on their payments due to Sponsor, is also not eligible to participate in the Contest.

Contest Period

The Contest begins on August 26, 2024 at 12:00:01 AM ET and ends on September 27, 2024 at 11:59:59 PM ET (the "Contest Period”)

Important Dates:

  • Submission Period: September 15th–October 18th, 2024

  • Winner Announcement: October 29th, 2024

How to Enter

There is one way to enter the Contest:

Web Portal. During the Contest Period, visit [portal] and follow all necessary steps to submit a video recording or voice-over review of Sponsor's products and services (each a “Portal Entry”). Your video must contain the following hashtag, preferably at the end: "#2024FrontpointLensLegendVideoContest". Videos that do not contain this hashtag will not be entered into the Contest.

You may submit up to five (5) Entries during the Contest Period. Only the person submitting the Entry will be eligible to win a prize. In the event of a dispute as to any Entry, the authorized account holder of the social media account or email account used to enter will be deemed to be the participant. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses that is associated with the social media account that posted the relevant Entry.

By submitting an Entry, you agree that you and your Entry will comply with and be subject to Frontpoint’s Photo and Video Submission Terms & Conditions (“Video Terms”) and that Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may disqualify you from the Contest if it believes that you or your Entry does not comply with the Video Terms. Entries must fulfill all requirements, as specified herein and in the Video Terms, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are incomplete, incorrect, incomprehensible, not public or that do not otherwise comply with these Official Rules and the Video Terms will not be entered into the Contest.

By participating in the Contest, you agree (on behalf of yourself, your immediate family members and your heirs, successors and assigns) to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules. In addition, you understand and acknowledge that all decisions regarding the Contest and Official Rules, as determined by Sponsor, are final, non-appealable and binding in all respects. Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding the Contest should be directed to Sponsor.

ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON, WHETHER OR NOT AN ENTRANT, TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF APPLICABLE LAW AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY'S FEES) FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.

Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or the Video Terms. In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Contest is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, or other technical problem, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the Contest to address the impairment and then resume the Contest in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules, or (b) award the prize(s) at random from among the eligible Entries received up to the time of the impairment. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate or modify the Contest in a manner deemed appropriate by Sponsor. In the event of termination, winners will be selected from among all eligible Entries received as of date of termination. If any provision of these rules is held to be illegal or unenforceable, such provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so the Official Rules otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of these provisions.

Prizes

  • Grand Prize: $500 Amazon Gift Card + 1 Year of Free Frontpoint Monitoring

  • Second Prize: $250 Amazon Gift Card + 6 Months of Free Frontpoint Monitoring

  • Third Prize: $100 Amazon Gift Card + 3 Months of Free Frontpoint Monitoring

  • 2 Honorable Mentions: Frontpoint Swag Bags (includes branded merchandise)

The total approximate retail value ("ARV") of the prizes is $1,100 for the Grand Prize, $550 for the Second Prize, $250 for the Third Prize, and $50 for each of the two (2) Honorable Mentions. One (1) winner will be selected for each prize, for a total of five (5) winners.

Winners are responsible for all federal, state and local taxes, including taxes on their income, and fees and expenses associated with receipt of a prize and/or its use. Each prize is subject to the terms and conditions of the issuer, is awarded on an as is basis, is non-transferable or assignable, and will not be replaced if lost or stolen. No substitutions of the prizes (including, without limitation, cash) are permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value if any prize is not available for any reason, but in no event will the total ARV of the prizes be more than $2,000.

Winner Selection and Notification

Within 10 (ten) calendar days of the end of the Contest Period, Sponsor will select five (5) potential winners from all eligible Entries received. Selection of winners will be made by Sponsor based on the following criteria:

  • Relevance: How well the video showcases the benefits of using Frontpoint

  • Creativity: Originality and creativity of the video

  • Impact: Overall impact and message conveyed through the video

  • Humor and Heart: Funny moments, family milestones, and heartfelt reasons for loving Frontpoint

The odds of being selected depend on the number of eligible Entries received. If no eligible Entries are received during a Contest Period, no prizes will be awarded for that Contest Period. Potential winners will be notified by email or telephone, using the contact information provided by the entrant. If contact cannot be established by social media or email within seven (7) days of the selection, an alternate potential winner will be selected from the remaining eligible Entries. Sponsor is not responsible for a winner's failure to receive notices due to spam, junk, e-mail, or other security settings or for the provision of incorrect or non-functioning contact information. All determinations by Sponsor are final.

Except where prohibited, a potential winner will be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility, a W-9 form and liability/publicity release within seven (7) days of initial notification. If a potential winner fails to complete and return these documents within the required time period, an alternate potential winner will be selected. Prizes will be confirmed in writing upon return of the fully completed affidavit of eligibility, W-9 form and liability/publicity release.

Except where prohibited, acceptance of a prize constitutes your consent to the use of your name, prize won, hometown, opinion, biographical information and likeness for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity (including online posting) in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation.

Release

By participating in the Sweepstakes, you agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor, Instagram, Facebook, X and each of its and their respective affiliates and officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents, from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to, directly or indirectly, the Contest. This includes, without limitation, a release of any claims arising from acceptance, possession, misuse, or use of any prize or from participation in any Contest-related activities.

Disputes

Except where prohibited, you agree that (a) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Fairfax County, Virginia; (b) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (c) under no circumstances will you be permitted to obtain awards for, and you hereby waive all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, Entrant's rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of Frontpoint in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Delaware, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.

Privacy and Use of Information

Personal information submitted to Sponsor in connection with this Contest is subject to Sponsor's privacy policy posted at https://www.frontpointsecurity.com/privacy-policy. By participating in the Contest, you agree that all information provided as part of an Entry or the process to collect on a prize may be collected and used by Sponsor to send information, advertisements, or other offers it believes it may be of interest to you and that such information may be shared with Sponsor's marketing partners, in each case subject to your rights under Sponsor's privacy policy.

Copy of Rules and Winner List

To request a copy of the official contest rules please send a request to  [email protected] and include the subject line “2024 Frontpoint Lens Legend Video Contest.” After the close of the Contest Period, a request can be submitted for the name of the winners by sending an email to the same address.
